区块链赋能实体经济

　　鄢华中教授是一位国际著名的哲学家和计算机科学家，是最早思考区块链的本质，框架和核心算法的研究者之一，并且第一次在美国大学为研究生开设了区块链哲学，经济学和算法的专业课程，拥有10多项关于区块链核心算法的专利。以下是鄢华中教授关于区块链革命的本质的英文演讲（配中文字幕）。鄢华中教授是微财网的首席区块链科学家。

　 　 Good evening！ Members and friends, welcome! It's my great honor for me to experience this great moment with all of you!

　 　    中国是第一个将区块链技术提升为国家战略技术的国家。

　 　  China is the first country to upgrade blockchain technology to strategic technology in the national level.

 

　 　  下一个问题是：什么是区块链？你很容易在互联网上找到关于区块链的定义，例如区块链是分布式账本、P2P网络、或者密码学等等。

　 　  The next question is: what is blockchain? You can easily find the definition of blockchain on the Internet, such as distributed ledger, P2P network, or cryptography.

 

　 　  我作为一个哲学家和计算机科学家，我已经研究区块链近十年了。

　 　  As a philosopher and computer scientist, I have followed blockchain for almost ten years.

 

　 　  我认为区块链不仅仅是一种技术，那么，它究竟是什么呢？如果你说区块链是一种技术，这只触及到了它的表象，没有触及到区块链的核心本质。

　 　  To me, blockchain is more than just a technology. So, what is it? If you say that blockchain is a technology, it is only its appearance, not touching on its core essence of blockchain..

 

　 　  那么什么是区块链的本质呢？我们可以从人类的历史中找到答案，特别是人类的文明。

　 　  So what is the essence of blockchain? We can find the answer from human history, especially our civilizations.

 

　 　  我们的文明史已经快1万年了。那么，过去1万年人类文明爆炸式增长的秘密是什么？答案是人类的协同和合作。这是关键之所在。

　 　  Our civilization went through for over 10,000 years. So, what was the secret of the explosive growth for the last 10,000 years? The answer is human collaboration, the cooperation among people. That is the key.

 

　 　  所以，协同是过去1万年文明发展的核心推动力。

　 　  So, the collaboration was the core driving force for our civilization development for the last 10,000 years.

 

　 　  但是, 这里有一些问题：过去1万年以来，我们是通过中心化的过程来管理人类协作的。

　 　  However, there were some problems: for the past 10,000 years, we have used a centralized mechanism to manage our collaborations and cooperation.  

 

　 　  例如，我们通过一个中心来管理我们、指导我们、协调我们和监督我们，那么，谁来管理中心自己、监督中心自己、指导中心自己呢？

　 　  For example, if we rely on a center to manage us, guide us, coordinate us and supervise us, who will manage the center itself, guide the center itself , and monitor the center itself?

 

　 　  这是一个闭环问题，我们的文明缺乏一个管理和监督的闭环。那么，我们的解决方案是什么呢？答案是区块链。

　 　  This is the problem of closed loop. Our civilization lacks a closed loop of management and supervision. So , what is the solution to resolve that problem? The answer is blockchain.

 

　 　  区块链是一个管理人类合作的去中心化的机制，我们将依赖于相互监督，依赖于可持续性的、自觉的合作，这是因为如果我们还是依赖于中心的话，可能发生的是：一旦中心崩溃，那么整个系统就崩溃了。

　 　  Blockchain is a decentralized mechanism to manage our collaborations. We will rely on mutual supervision, rely on sustainable and self-motivational collaborations, because if we still rely on the center, what happen is that once the center collapses, the whole system will collapse

 

　 　  这就是为什么区块链的本质就是一种可持续的，自觉的、管理合作和相互监督的机制。

　 　  That is why the essence of blockchain is a sustainable and self-motivational mechanism for collaborations and mutual supervision.

 

　 　  下一个问题是，区块链成功的关键因素是什么？答案是如何将区块链应用于实体经济。

　 　  The next question is what is the key success factor for blockchain technology ? The answer is how to apply blockchain to real economy.
